The characteristics of PP plastic sheet
Polypropylene (PP) extruded sheet is a plastic sheet made of PP resin adding various kinds of functional auxiliaries through extrusion, pressing, cooling, cutting and so on. PP is a semi-crystalline material. It is tougher than PE and has a higher melting point. Due to the PP homopolymer type temperature above 0 ℃ above is very fragile, so many business of PP material is 1 ~ 4% or higher ratio of ethylene content in random copolymer of ethylene copolymer of pliers. Copolymer of PP materials with low heat distortion temperature (100 ℃), low transparency and gloss, low rigidity, but there are have stronger impact strength.

The strength of PP increases with the increase of ethylene content. PP vicat softening temperature is 150 ℃. Due to the high degree of crystallinity, the surface stiffness and anti-scratch characteristics of this material are very good. There is no environmental stress cracking problem. The PP is usually modified with glass fiber, metal additives or thermoplastic rubber. The flow rate of PP is in the range of 1 ~ 40. PP materials with low MFR have good anti-impact properties but low tensile strength.
For the same MFR material, the copolymer type is higher than the homopolymer type. Because of crystallization, the shrinkage rate of PP is quite high, generally 1.8 ~ 2.5%. The direction of shrinkage is much better than that of PE - HD. Adding 30% of glass additives can reduce the systolic rate to 0.7%. Both polymer and copolymer PP materials have excellent anti-hygroscopic properties, corrosion resistance and solubility. However, it has no resistance to aromatic hydrocarbons (such as benzene) solvents, chlorinated hydrocarbons (carbon tetrachloride) solvents. PP is not as resistant to oxidation as PE.
